Is it really free?

Yes. There is nothing to buy in Ultimate GOAT Clicker — no paid currency, no subscription, no "remove ads" button, no loot boxes. The game is paid for by advertising. Star Points, the only currency in the game, can only be earned by playing and cannot be bought.

Do I need an account?

No. You can tap the moment the page opens and your clicks count. An account is free and gives you three things a guest does not have: a name on the leaderboards, your progress on every device instead of only this browser, and access to the chat and shop.

Why does the leaderboard say "no name yet" next to a big score?

Those are guests. Their clicks count fully and their position is real — they simply never picked a name, so there is nothing to print. About half of the current top 100 is in that situation. If one of those lines is you, registering turns it into your name and keeps the score.

I cleared my browser and lost everything. Can you restore it?

If you were playing as a guest, no, and we are sorry. A guest identity lives in your browser's storage; when that is cleared — by you, by a "clean up" app, or by the browser itself in private mode — the link to that score is gone and there is no way for us to prove which one was yours. This is the single most common way people lose a big score, and the only protection is to register.

Why did my clicks stop counting?

Three possible reasons, in order of likelihood:

• You hit the daily cap. There is a limit on how many clicks one account can add in a day. It is high — far beyond normal play — but heavy players do reach it, and past that point the extra taps no longer add to the totals that day.
• You were tapping faster than the server accepts. There is a ceiling on how fast taps can physically arrive. Anything above it is discarded rather than counted.
• Connection. Clicks are sent in small batches; if the connection drops mid-batch the last few can be lost.

Someone is clearly using a script. What happens to them?

The server watches the spacing between taps. Human fingers are irregular, scripts are not, and accounts whose rhythm looks mechanical get flagged and left out of the published leaderboards. Their clicks also stop counting for their country, which is why a flag sometimes drops a long way overnight.

The system is not perfect in either direction: it occasionally catches honest players who play enormous amounts. If that happened to you, write to us — we can look at the actual data behind your account and undo it.

How is my country chosen? Can I change it?

It is detected automatically from your connection when you first arrive, so that you can start playing without filling in a form. You can change it from your profile. Clicks you already made stay with the country they were made for — they do not move with you — so switching flags does not transfer your contribution.

How do I change my name?

Open your profile from the top bar and edit it there. If you are on a computer and the panel looks cut off, scroll inside the panel itself: it has its own scrollbar.

What are Star Points for?

You earn one every 200 clicks. They buy click sounds and cosmetic items in the shop, they create a clan (10 Star Points), and they pay for proposing a new challenge (1 Star Point). They have no value outside the game and cannot be transferred between accounts.

Can I suggest a new duel?

Yes, and quite a few of the ones running now came from players. It costs 1 Star Point to propose one, other players vote, and the most voted proposals get put live. The cost exists only to keep the list from filling up with duplicates.

I left a clan but I still appear in its member list

That was a real bug and it has been fixed. If you still see it, reload the page once; if it survives a reload, write to us with the clan name.

What is the vase minigame?

A 150-tap speed run with its own all-time leaderboard. Every 30 taps a RELOAD button appears in a random spot and has to be pressed before you continue. No bonuses or boosts apply inside it — it is only about speed — and the taps still count for your country.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes, and most people play on one. There is nothing to install: it runs in the browser. You can add it to your home screen if you want it to open like an app.

Is there a prize?

No. There is no money, no tournament and nothing to win except the position itself and the right to tell people about it. Everything in the game, Star Points included, exists only inside the game.

Why do the challenge counters sometimes jump?

The duel counters are maintained by the site and can be adjusted by hand — for example when a challenge is relaunched, corrected after a problem, or rebalanced. The player and country rankings are different: those come only from real taps, filtered by the anti-cheat, and are never edited by hand.

How do I report a bug, or ask for something to be removed?

Write to support@ultimategoatclicker.com. That includes rights holders: if an image or a name used in a challenge is yours and you want it gone, say so and it will be taken down.
